An unusual and scary event happened today in Kukes.
A bear went out in the main road of the street this morning and has attacked a 36-year-old man.
Shehap Dafku, from the village of Brekie, is a hydropower worker, and as he was went to work at 6 o'clock in the morning, the bear came across the road, about 100 meters behind the Kukes-Shishtavec road segment.From the attack, the young man suffered injuries in the body and in one eye. Currently, he is hospitalized in Kukes hospital and out of life danger.
While his brother say to local media that Dafku has been injured in almost all parts of his body after fought with the wild animal.
Concerned by this incident, residents of the area require from the government to take measures, as bears are becoming dangerous for their lives and the children and have also damaged the crops, according to residens.
Last year also two residents of Kukës have been attacked by the bears.
