Croatia and Albania cooperate inside NATO on all issues

Croatian Defence Minister Joseph Buleviç met today with a delegation of the Ministry of Defense of Albania led by Minister Kodheli in the framework of their two-day visit to Croatia.

The two ministers said that Croatia and Albania will continue their close cooperation in the prevention of waves of migrants and extremism.

Defence Ministers also discussed the situation in the region and in Southeast Europe (SEE), future bilateral cooperation between the two countries and the summit of NATO to be held in Warsaw, in which the two countries will have a common approach.

Albanian Minister of Defense, Kodheli said this meeting is a sign of the need for strengthening cooperation in the field of defense between the two countries.

Kodheli stressed that the two countries are committed to strengthening security and stability in the Western Balkans, and the two countries have the same positive attitude about NATO expansion.

"The two countries will continue cooperation in joint missions of NATO, especially the mission in Afghanistan," said Kodheli.
