Albania included in World Bank regional project for improving municipal finance

 In the framework of the World Bank Project "Urban Partnership II Program (UPPII)", is held in the city of Vlora a seminar on "Municipal Finances and Urban Audit".

Part of this project funded by the World Bank are municipalities from Albania, Kosovo, Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. This event, organized in Vlora City, by the World Bank in cooperation with Vlora Municipality, is part of a series of meetings organized in various countries including Vienna, Belgrade, Skopje, Sarajevo, etc.

This meeting will serve to better understand the process of updating the action plan to improve the financial situation and financing of priority investments.

The World Bank Group of Experts together with over 40 participants are organizing a series of discussions and trainings as well as on-terrain visits to closely follow the performance of capital investments in the municipality of Vlora as well as the expected development in the city.
