How European MPs voted for visas, France and the Netherlands against, Romania and Slovakia pro

 Members of the European Parliament voted today in favor of the liberalization of visas for Kosovo, but it is interesting that the MPs of the two states that have recognized Kosovo have voted against vosas liberalization for Kosovo, while the two EU member states that have not recognized Kosovo have voted pro.

Deputies of France and the Netherlands, two countries that have recognized Kosovo's independence, voted in majority against visa liberalization, while the two states that have not recognized Kosovo, those of Romania and Slovakia, voted in favor of visas liberalisation for Kosovo.

Out of the 628 MEPs, 420 MPs voted for visa liberalization for Kosovo, 186 against, and 22 abstentions.
Meanwhile, French MPs in the EP, out of 67 present members, 22 voted for visa liberalization for Kosovo, 43 against, and 2 abstentions.

Like the French, Dutch MPs, even though their country has recognized Kosovo's independence, have voted against. Ouf of 21 members present, 5 voted in favor, 13 against, and 3 abstentions.
