The former Advisor of the Albanian UN Diplomatic Mission in Geneva, Blerina Zoto has filed a criminal charge in the the prosecutor's office against the Albanian Ambassador Filloreta Kodra.
In the lawsuit are listed nine factual violations of the ambassador Kodra, while he was representative of the Albanian state in one of the most important affiliates of Albanian diplomacy in the world.
Within the denunciation, have been provided evidence on the use of a private car with diplomatic license plates, giving thus to the Albanian state a financial cost and not only. This car is driven by an employee of the Embassy, Dorina Xhixho, daughter of Pirro Xhixho, former head of AKEP. Kodra is accused of abuses in bidding and tendering methods, in contravention with the procedures approved by the Ministry of Finance.The scandal intensifies as amidst other charges of an administrative nature, Zoto accuses the Ambassador that she did not made the payments through the bank, such as the legal obligation, but she carried out cash payments. Moreover, Kodra has violated the former diplomat's residence by changing the lease contract.
