30 Albanians repatriated from France and Belgium after having violated the Schengen rules

 30 Albanian citizens have been repatriated yesterday evening at "Mother Teresa" airport from France and Belgium after violating the rules of stay in the Schengen area, according to official information from the Ministry of Interior

FRONTEX, in cooperation with the State Police, the French and the Belgian one have organized the flight by plane to repatriate these persons.

The Interior Ministry and the State Police call upon all Albanian citizens to meet the criteria of free movement in European Union countries.

"Albania is a safe country of origin and any attempt to violate the rules of free movement by Albanian citizens will have consequences for them.

The Interior Ministry and the State Police asked all citizens not to apply for asylum, as no political or economic claim is accepted. The chances of obtaining asylum are zero.

Albanian State Police has taken all measures at all Border Crossing Points to strengthen, supervise and prevent asylum attempts, putting the violator in front of the law.".
