An earthquake of 4.4 magnitude was registered today about 7 kilometers from the seaside town of Durres and its epicenter was in the Adriatic Sea.
Albanian media say the quake was felt by residents of the city of Durres and Tirana, while there are no reported injuries or material damage.The earthquake that lasted a few seconds was confirmed by the European Mediterranean Centre of Seismology (EMSC).
