“If you don’t have plans how to spend your Christmas holidays yet, we have the perfect solution for you,” a recent article published on “www.eurovision.tv” says about the 54th edition of Albanian Radio Television Song Festival due to be held by the year end.
“Watch the Albanian national selection with us – it will be broadcast live on December 25, 26 and 27 this year,” the Eurovision article goes on saying about the biggest national song contest in the country.
"Festivali i Këngës" is not only the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, it’s the most prestigious Albanian music competition which has taken place every year since 1962.
Referring to some of the participants in this year’s festival edition, Eurovision underlines that both Adrian Lulgjuraj and Luiz Ejlli have already represented Albania in previous Eurovision Song Contests, while two other contestants, namely Klajdi Musabelliu and Erga Halilaj, have also been on the Eurovision stage before, as backing artists.
This year, the 54th edition of the festival will be held in Tirana, with two Semi-Finals on December 25th and 26th, and the Final on December 27th.
