About 5 thousand works of art will undergo the process of disinsectisation, announced the National Gallery of Arts (NGA) in Tirana.
Alarm about the risk of NGA works fund, regarded as a national treasure, was raised by the institution for quite a long time, also looking for attention by the Ministry of Culture. The process will take place for a few days with the support of a private donor and is considered very important for the wealth of artworks stored in the gallery’s fund and endangered by insects.
"Disinsectization will be carried out according to all specific and professional standards and the process will include all NGA’s fund, which store about 5 thousand works of art” announced NGA.
