Civil society is continuing the action in collecting the signatures of citizens in order to submitt a request to Assembly of Albania over an extraordinary session for the discharge of the Governor of the Bank of Albania, Ardian Fullani. Today about 1200 capital firms have been gathered for the dismissal of the Bank head, while yesterday were collected in 1026 capital firms.
After Tirana, the action is extended to the cities of Elbasan and Durres. Elbasan Citizens are invited through social networks to sign the petition on the boulevard 'Aqif Pasha' in order to discharge Fullani, after the theft of 713 million leks from State Treasury.
The organizer of the protest, Zircon Disha said yesterday that after Tirana, they will head to other districts of the country. "We give people the opportunity to sign a petition, which would then addressed to the Assembly, in wich Fullani discharge is requested. He can no more hold the office, he has refused to resign", Disha said.
