Minister of Urban Development and Tourism Eglantina Gjermeni, speaking at the presentation of “Lungomare” project, said that “The project of Vlora promenade will be a pilot for revitalization of Albanian cities through public projects.” Gjermeni said that the aim is to make available spaces for improvement of tourist potentials and create possibilities for small and average economic activities.
"Very soon we will have the possibility to embody this project here in touristic and historical city of Vlora."
"All the potentials of the tourism development are here. At the moment when this project was won, the competition was open, exactly for the reason that this project have your support, the support of Vlora's citizens," Gjermeni said.
