President of the Albanian Assembly, Ilir Meta , responded today to opposition allegations about his participation at commemoration of Congress of Përmet, wich was a turning point for communists regime to come in power in 1944.
Your problem - Meta said, addressing to opposition - is that you don't acknowledge can Antifascist National Liberation War and deny the blood of thousands of young people who lost their lives in this war.
"Congress of Përmet was the continuity of the Peza Conference and there was decided the aligning of Albania alongside victorious countries of WWII and also decided to hold free elections, but later were not held. I am proud for my participation in the feast of Përmet, I'm not influenced either by your extremism nor by Enver Hoxha's proponents, Meta stressed.
Earlier, DP deputy, Jozefina Topalli, continued to charge opposition on plane crash in Divjaka and administration discharges.
