The olive tree in Gjorm you see in this picture is one thousand years old one of 100 of oldest olive trees in the Balkans.
No special protection does not enjoy this fruit of great value."We must proclaim this olive tree a natural monument" says Dr.Selman Meziu on Facebook.
According to him, the Gjorm olive tree is a symbol of resistance, beauty, ancient culture, and a miracle of nature of scientific and cultural values. Currently no one cares about it, but the local villagers.
