Lumturie Patushi, 58, Stabbed to Death in Tirana as Husband Hysni Patushi Sought by Police

 A 58-year-old woman has been stabbed to death in Tirana, with police suspecting that her husband may be responsible for the killing.


The victim, Lumturie Patushi, was seriously injured in the attack at a residential complex behind the “Harry Fultz” school, near Albania’s Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SPAK). She was rushed to hospital but died from her injuries.
Her husband, 68-year-old Hysni Patushi, reportedly fled the scene and has been declared wanted by police.

A 14-year-old grandson and the couple’s son-in-law were reportedly inside the apartment when the incident occurred.

Investigators have launched an investigation to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the killing and determine the motive. Police are continuing their search for the suspect.

The case remains under investigation.
