Albania Protests Enter Day 105 as Diaspora Albanians Join Anti-Rama March in Tirana

 Albania’s anti-government protests entered their 105th consecutive day on Saturday, as large numbers of citizens and activists once again took to the streets of Tirana.

 Citizens and activists gather in Tirana as anti-government protests reach their 105th consecutive day, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Saturday’s protest also saw the participation of Albanians from the diaspora, some of whom traveled to the capital specifically to join the ongoing demonstrations.

As in previous days, protesters gathered after 7 p.m. at Skanderbeg Square, where they chanted slogans including “Your time is up,” “A New Albania,” “Rama Resign,” and “Rama in prison, Berisha in prison.”

The protesters then marched toward Martyrs of the Nation Boulevard, gathering in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, where anti-government chants and speeches continued.

The main demand of the protesters remains the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and his government.

Following the speeches, protesters are expected to continue marching through the streets of Tirana as the demonstrations enter their 105th day.
