Square in Albanian Catholic city to bear the name of Erdogan

 The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan visits Albania on Monday, January 17th.

According to the agenda of the visit, received by Oculus News, after the reception ceremony at the "Mother Teresa" airport at 9:25, Erdogan will visit a family in Laç at around 10:00 ", where Turkey has contributed to the construction of some dwellings destroyed by the 2019 earthquake.

The handover ceremony of the houses built after the earthquake in Laç is scheduled to take place at 10:20 am. Also around this hour will take place the naming ceremony of the square in Laç with the name of the President of the Republic of Turkey.

Let us remember that Laçi is one of the few Albanian regions that are complete of the Catholic faith, and this is one of the geopolitical movements of Erdogan and Turkey and the reason of why they built the buildings of the inhabitants of Laçi, who are all Catholics, while it is a well known fact that Albania is massively Islamized

At 13:00, a meeting between Erdogan and Prime Minister Rama is scheduled, while at 15:00, after the signing of several agreements between the two parties, a press conference is scheduled.


At 16:00, the inauguration ceremony of the recently restored Et'hem Bey Mosque in Tirana will be held, while at 17:00, Erdogan will deliver a welcoming speech to the Albanian Parliament.
