The Albanian Football Association (FSHF) has successfully conducted a scouting and selection event for young Albanian footballers from the diaspora in the United States. Held over the weekend at the “Hudson Sports Complex” in New York, the event brought together 134 players born between 2009 and 2013, including 12 girls.
A special contribution to the organization of this event came from former Albanian National Team player Ansi Agolli, whose support was instrumental in making the camp a success.
The selection camp was closely observed by Ardi Behari, Head of Scouting at FSHF, and National Team assistant coach Ervin Bulku. Both officials assessed the talents on display, identifying potential players who could represent Albania’s youth national teams in the future.
Several promising young footballers were identified during the camp and will continue to be monitored by FSHF’s Technical Department as part of its long-term development strategy.
This scouting initiative in the U.S. marks another concrete step in FSHF’s mission to build strong ties with the Albanian community abroad and to integrate the most promising talents from the diaspora into national team development programs.
