Mahmuti brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having also served on the coaching staff of well-known Albanian clubs such as Partizani and Dinamo, as well as the “Loro Boriçi” sports school.

The newly appointed coach has signed a two-year contract and will lead the U-15 squad in both friendly and official matches. His responsibilities extend beyond the national team, as Mahmuti will also play a key role in the Albanian FA’s “Elite Youth Academy,” where he will be in charge of the 2011-born age group.

The “Elite Youth Academy” is one of the most ambitious projects launched by the FSHF. It aims to create a modern and sustainable structure for the identification, education, and technical development of Albania’s most promising football talents from an early age. With a specialized coaching staff, unified methodology, and comprehensive support system, the academy is a cornerstone in the FSHF’s long-term vision to build strong and competitive national teams across all age levels.

Meanwhile, coach Armand Dama will continue working with the same age group by taking charge of the Albania U-16 National Team. He will also remain involved with the “Elite Youth Academy,” coaching the 2010-born age group.

In addition, coach Francesco Vitobello will lead the 2012-born age group within the academy structure.

These appointments reflect the FSHF’s strategic focus on youth development and the continuous strengthening of its technical staff to foster a brighter future for Albanian football.
