 Charles McGonigal, the former FBI official arrested a few days ago, turns out to have been an administrator and partner of a law firm in Albania.

According to information available to News24, Charles McGonigal had bought for $1 the 25% of the shares of the company LAWOFFICE & INVESTIGATION, in Tirana, owned by Shefqet Dizdari on February 21, 2019, Tireana media reports.

On the same day, American citizens Mark Thomas Rossini and Agron Neza became shareholders of this law firm, with 25% against the price of 1 US dollar.

The latter is included in the American investigation against the former FBI official as the person who gave McGonigal $225,000. At the time that Shefqet Dizdari had sold 75% of the shares of the company LAWOFFICE & INVESTIGATION based in Tirana for $3, this company had a capital of 8 million Albanian leks or about 80 thousand dollars.

On the first day when the contract for the sale of shares was signed, Charles McGonigal was elected administrator of the company LAWOFFICE & INVESTIGATION, which has as its object of activity the services of advocacy and legal consultancy.

But, just a few months after the former FBI official became a shareholder and administrator of the company in Tirana, more specifically on October 24, 2019, he signed the suspension of the activity for an indefinite period,

In the last financial balance submitted to KKB with the signature of Charles McGonigal, the company resulted in a loss of 416 thousand leks, while in the bank accounts, it had about 1.5 million leks, while another 5.3 million leks are short-term receivables.
