 Actor Kostas Nikouli has recently spoken about his Albanian origin

The actor who currently plays in the TV show "Sasmos", has shared the journey of his life with the public and talked about his immigrant parents from Albania, explaining how he found himself in the School of Acting.

During his confession, the actor emphasized that he feels proud to be Albanian and does not feel bad at all about this fact. Meanwhile, among other things, he stated that he has never felt a foreigner in Greece.

"My name does not betray anything. Personally, I want the last name to be Nikouli and not Nikoulis, to remind me where I come from. Nikouli is written in the ID and I wanted this to be my last name. I am proud to be Albanian. I was open from the first moment and I did not feel like a stranger or different from others." said actor Kostas Nikouli.

We remind that for geopolitical and religious reasons, Albanians in Greece have a negative stigma that is constantly cultivated by the state. Even official Greece is constantly trying to alienate Albanians, changing surnames and first names in order to somehow be accepted in Greek society.

And many Albanians feel marginalized and intimidated in Greece.

Actor Kostas Nikouli and the famous songstress Eleni Foureira are some special occasions that proudly express their Albanian origin. This is probably because perhaps the power of art is invincible.
