Once she denied her origin, Eleni Foureira: I'm proud of being Albanian

 The songstress of Albanian origin, Eleni Foureira, came to the attention of the media some time ago after denying her origin. Known as Greece's Beyonce, she was attacked by Albanian fans, and then forced to admit that if she would declared her origin, she would not reach the top, as today.

She reached Lisbon finally, where he will represent Cyprus in Eurovision. In an interview for 'Wiwiblogs', she attracted everyone's attention when she proudly declared that she is of Albanian descent.

"It's hard to live in Albania and then start the life in a new state where you know none, but all these difficulties made me who I am today. I am proud to be Albanian and I am very happy to have grown up in Greece, which is a fantastic country but I'm also proud to represent Cyprus in Eurovision," said Foureira.

Shortly after the starting of the European festival, Eurovizion, that this year will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, the emotions begun for this competition.

For Albanians this year's festival is even more special, as there will be three Albanian singers representing three different countries.

Eugen Bushpepa will represent Albania, Ermal Meta will represent Italy and the Albanian songstres Eleni Foureira represents Cyprus.
