Three Albanians win the municipal elections in Finland

 Funda Demiri, Brigita Krasniqi and Albana Mustafi are the three Albanians who won in three different cities in Finland in the municipal council elections that took place there.

Funda Demiri has been elected to the Vantaa City Council. Brigita Krasniqi has been elected to the municipal council of the city of Tampere. Albana Mustafi has been elected to the municipal council of the city of Kem.

The Albanian community in Finland is quite consolidated and integrated into Finnish society. In these elections, there were ten Albanians who ran in the municipal elections there in different cities.

Elections were held on Sunday 13 June, while preliminary voting outside Finland took place from 2 to 5 June, and preliminary voting within the country on 26 May - 8 June, according to the Finnish electoral system.
