Lulzim Basha has been officially announced the winner of the race for chairman of the Democratic Party of Albania.
The Chairman of the Central Election Commission in the Democratic Party, Jemin Gjana, in a presentation to journalists at the party headquarters, has published the final results of the elections.
He announced that Lulzim Basha won 32,882 votes, Agron Shehaj 6,038 votes, Edit Harxhi 983 votes, while Fatbardh Kadilli 781 votes.
"The DP election mission has just concluded the minutes of the declaration of the official final result. We have administered 76 boxes nationwide. One by one the boxes were opened in the presence of the commission. From the minutes, it results that in all cases the commissioners have also signed the representatives of the candidates in the race who were there in the representation", said Gjana.
