The news about the Greek-American exercise in the Aegean turns out to be fake
 USS Dwight D. Eisenhower
On some portals has circulated the news that the American aircraft carrier Eisenhower, one of the most important units that show the strength of the United States Navy had turned the wheel to the island of Crete to allegedly conduct joint exercises with Greece in the Aegean Sea.

According to this news, the Eisenhower at the weekend had crossed the Suez Canal along with 12 other warships and would conduct in the Aegean Sea with the Greek Air Force a joint exercise that would last about 10 days.

But according to the information that the correspondent of the Anatolian Agency has managed to get from security sources, this news does not reflect the truth.

Despite this, it is learned that the American aircraft carrier Eisenhower in the coming days will conduct naval exercises in the Mediterranean together with the ships of the Turkish Navy, which take part in the operation Mediterranean Shield.
