Two businessmen have been arrested by the Kavaja police on charges of exploiting prostitution and holding hotels for the exploitation of prostitution, while 5 women have also been arrested for practicing prostitution.
The owners of two hotels, Bujar Gjuzi and Fatmir Hoxha have been arrested.
Also, the citizen R. L., a resident of Divjaka, has been arrested after he was caught red-handed in the hotel premises owned by Gjuzi, having sexual intercourse in exchange of payment, with the citizen Q. R.
We remind that sexual violence has increased considerably in the last years, especially on children, also prostitution.
Maybe it is time for prostitution to be legalized.

Many Albanians think that prostitution is exercised in public offices in a mild manner, in exchange for favors, workplaces, or even money.
Thus would be fair for prostitution to be legalized in Albania.
