 In a time when 10 days have passed since the first official case of coronavirus detected in Albania, the government requires respiratory equipment for patients affected by COVID-19. The Ministry of Health (MoH) has opened a tender for the purchase of respirators, vital equipment for people affected by COVID and have respiratory problems.

The tender: “Supply, respiratory placement with two modalities for adults and pediatric age for COVID-19” was published yesterday by the MoH.

The documents provided by Oculus News state that the deadline for submission of bids is March 18, ie today until 17:00 evening.

The limit fund for the purchase of respirators is ALL 129,727,371 excluding VAT. With a maximum of 60 points will be assessed for the fast delivery of respirators, while the price will, therefore, be estimated at 40 points.

The economic operator who received the most points during the meeting will be invited to negotiate and conclude the contract.
The MOH requires that all documents be original though notarized copies. Cases of non-delivery of a document, or of inaccurate documents, are considered as conditions for disqualification.
