We are very upset and very badly affected by this earthquake, which hit Albania. And here I would like to extend my most sincere condolences to the affected families and the families of the victims. We wish speedy recovery of the injured from this earthquake. Two days ago we were in Durres, to see closely the affected  by the earthquake and also visited the center of Vora in the village Marikaj and came today to the town of Shijak, where we saw the affected families and offering to them aids from the Qatar Development Fund in cooperation with the Qatar Center for Charity. We have been to Durres since the first day, bringing in Qatar State aid. Our state will continue to be present, this is not just the first day. In the following we will be present standing with the Albanian people.

"The State of Qatar, headed by His Highness Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, is always committed to helping Albania and will be with the Albanian people, and we look forward to further assistance in the coming days. Our exit on the ground is under the direction of His Highness the Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. We have seen closely identifying the right needs.

"Qatar is committed to helping the Albanian brotherly people and with the permission of Lord Qatar, we hope to be present in some projects for the reconstruction and construction of houses in cooperation with the Albanian Government."
