Opening negotiations on Albania / Germany intensifies meetings with European partners

 "Germany is intensifying meetings with European partners who have spoken out against opening negotiations with Albania, in order to have a more positive outcome."

This was confirmed today by the Ambassador of Germany in Tirana, Peter Zingraf, in a meeting with the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Policy, Mimi Kodheli.

Kodheli expressed gratitude for the extraordinary and uninterrupted assistance Germany has provided to Albania in both economic and political terms, and in particular in support of our country's European perspective.

"The ambassador assured me that Germany is intensifying meetings with European partners who have spoken out against opening negotiations to have a more positive outcome," Kodheli said.
