| The new statium of Kukës project |
With a € 5 million investment approved long ago, the municipality of Kukes has started implementing the project.
The mayor of Kukës, Safet Gjici, also president of the city's football club, said this is an investment not only for Kukes fans but also for those from Albania and Kosovo.
The fans of Kukes have welcomed the start of this investment, as during the last football season, the team could not play in the stadium "Zeqir Ymeri", because did not meet the conditions.
The new Kukes stadium will have 8,000 seats, the accommodations will also be part of it. The stadium will be built according to UEFA parameters and will also host international matches.
