Skanderbeg's bust deployed to Odessa, Ukraine, where an Albanian community lives

 A bust of the Albanian national hero, Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg, is erected in the Odesa, ​​Ukraine, where there live about 5,000 self-identified Albanians.

Albanian Post supported the initiative undertaken by the Active Media Center for the bust of the national hero, Gjergj Kastrioti Skënderbeu, in the area.

The realization of the specifics of this initiative and the guarantee to sent it to the destination was followed with priority by the administrator of the Albanian Post, Laert Duraj.

In the Odesa area, Karakurt village has its largest concentration of about 2700 inhabitants, of which 80% are of Albanian origin.

This community is of particular importance for the Albanian national identity, for the preservation of culture, customs, and folklore,

This bust of the national hero is the symbolism and the best message given to this community in gratitude, and to make it possible for this community to feel closer to Albania.
