Earthquake again in Korça; 4 magnitude scale

 The Institute of Geosciences in Albania recorded again earthquakes on Sunday in the Korca area of ​​Southeast Albania. Since Saturday morning there are 75 earthquakes in the area, the last at around 18.00, with a magnitude of 4 magnitude. No damage has been reported today as the panic has continued in the residents of the area who have abandoned the apartments by staying out.

Meanwhile, according to data from the field dozens of villagers of the villages if Floq, Dvoran, Qafëzezë and Vidohova spent the night in military tents in this area where dozens of flats were destroyed on Saturday by a powerful earthquake. The Ministry of Defense said through a statement that measures were taken in the area affected with water supply, installation of military tents and food supply to the residents.

Civil Emergencies said that the number of residents who spent the night out in the tents was 230 while 184 damaged dwellings were identified, 60% of which were uninhabited. According to the emergency, 230 residents were accommodated in the collective tents raised by the military, 160 in Floq, 40 in Vidovë and 30 in Qafëzez.

Because of the earthquake on Saturday, four people with light injuries were reported. The shakings began on Saturday morning in Korça, damaging the houses of some villages.
