The Police doesn't give permission for the opposition protest on March 5

The last protest of the Opposition in front of the Parliament

Two days before the announced protest by the opposition at the courtyard of the Parliament, to many security cameras are mounted.

Before the March 5th protest, the State Police "crashed" again in distance with the Democratic Party (DP). Through a letter, the Tirana local police director, Kastriot Skenderaj, informs DP Secretary General Gazmend Bardhi of banning the protest for security reasons, bringing to mind what happened last protest with cabinet ministers .

"The protest undermines the security of the institution of particular importance, the Albanian Parliament, this hampers the entrances and exits of members of the Government, the deputies, the administration, and endangers their lives," the police said.

But Gazment Bardhi rejected police claims through another letter.

"No member of the government or MP has been raped or hit on February 26. It is true that there has been some provocation by some political representatives of the government who have tried to enter into arrogance among protesting citizens and have left from the area that was planned to take place. It has been the police that in flagrant violations has used massive poisoning tools against citizens," Bardhi said.

As above, the Democratic Party's General Secretary reports that the opposition does not withdraw from its constitutional right to protest. In the correspondence, the rally is said to be held on Tuesday at 9:00, but on the Assembly site, just like last time, only the order of the session was published, not the time when the majority will be convened.
