Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj received yesterday the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Japan, Toshiko Abe.

Haradinaj announced on Facebook that next year the Japanese Embassy will be opened in Kosovo.

Below Haradinaj's post:

When we mark the 10th anniversary of the excellent diplomatic relations between our two states, we, with the Japan's State Foreign Affairs Minister Toshiko Abe, agreed to advance our bilateral cooperation in new dimensions.

The opening of the Japanese Embassy in Kosovo in 2020 will give a new impetus to our friendship and partnership.

Japan, as a major and comprehensive supporter of Kosovo in the economic and political sphere, remains an important partner in our international consolidation.
