The European Union continues to support Albania in every area. After the support that Brussels is giving to Albania for Justice Reform and the establishment of new justice bodies such as the KLP, the KLGJ and SPAK, the EU has also thought to support our country in the fight against organized crime.

The news was announced yesterday by the European Union ambassador to Albania, Luigi Soreca. Through a status on social networks, Soreca announced that an official of Europol will already be in the State Police in January 2019.

According to him, the mission of the official is the fight against organized crime.

"The fight against crime is a priority for the EU and Europol. Along with the police forces have set up a network to strengthen their cooperation against mafia-style criminal groups, including organized Albanian crime," said European Union ambassador Luigi Soreca in Tirana.

Meanwhile the Albanian government has also intensified the moves to make the fight against organized crime as simple as possible and track down the money that Albanian politicians and former officials have hidden abroad.
