At the request of the Italian government, Albania has received 20 refugees from 150 in the trapped ship in Catania.
The news is announced by the Italian Foreign Minister, Enzo Moavero Milanesi, who stressed that Albania is the first country to provide assistance.
Earlier, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati, in a post on Twitter, said that Italy supported us when we needed, and today we are ready to give one hand, pointing out that Albania can not replace Europe."We can not replace Europe, but we are always here, on the other side of a sea, where we once were the Eritreans who sufered day and night in the sea waiting for Europe to wake up!
