The Pan-Albanian Federation of America, Vatra is very concerned about the recent situation in Albania as a result of the tax imposition in Nation's Road and the increase of taxes in general.
The Vatra Federation is in full support of the Kukes residents, as one of the poorest areas and left behind by the Government.
Vatra's Federation calls on the Government not to use the police force against the suffering and honest citizens of Kukës, but against the criminals and mafia that have occupied the institutions of the Albanian state.Immediate (and not suspended) cancellation of this tax, review of the taxation system as a whole, the starting of the dialogue with the citizens (and not show-talk on television screens) and undertaking concrete projects for the economic recovery of Kukes and the country as a whole, as well as the cessation of any police pressure on the population; are the only way to get out of the crisis.
