Two Albanian deputies risk their mandate due to the decriminalization law

 The Prosecution in Albania requested today the termination of the mandates of the MPs Aqif Rakipi of PDIU party in Elbasan and Gledion Rahovica of SMI in Berat.

The two MPs have hidden in their self-declarations criminal records related to their ban by Italian police.The prosecution's verifications were made at the CEC's request under the decriminalization law, which requires the termination and removal of the mandate for MPs who have criminal records in their lives have hide them.

The prosecution launched investigations recently into several deputies and officials of the administration of various levels in central and local government.
