Serb Prof. Miroljub Petrovic kisses Albanian flag by pretending is a Serbian symbol

The images that appear in this video provide a sense of pride, but this feeling becomes even more acute when a Serbian citizen kisses the Albanian flag. These images are rare, but what is of interest to Albanians is related to the fact that as a professor and expert on Balkan issues, he expresses his wishes about the Albanian Flag Day.

It is about Miroljub Petrovic, who through a video has congratulated the Flag Day, a celebration he calls a Serbian Day, because according to him, the Albanian flag is the flag of the great hero, George Castriota Scanderbeg, for whom he says is of Serbian origin. The Serbian professor says further that Skanderbeg is his great-grandfather.

"In the Serbian lands, which are currently under occupation, namely in Epirus today called Albania, then Kosovo and some municipalities in central Serbia is marked Flag Day, meaning it is a Serbian Day, because the flag that flew in these Serbian lands is the flag of the greatest hero of the 15th century, my great-grandfather, George Castriota Scanderbeg,"he says.

He further states that the same flag was given to Nemanjaj, a two-headed eagle with a red background symbolizing blood, battles and war for freedom.

In the end he closes his message by kissing the Albanian flag, appealing to other Serbs to do also this gesture.
