Gerti Bogdani, the chairman of the Democratic Youth Forum was elected President of the International Young Democrat Union, an organization founded by Margaret Thatcher. In his speech, Bogdani said: "IYDU is a family organization and open to all youth organizations of the center-right, who promote the values of democracy and freedom in the world.
We have shown so far that we can be in the forefront of the response and commitment even in the most difficult conflicts, and I am sure we will continue to do so in the future, where democracy is at risk and where it can develope. Young people are the real strength of any democracy."
