The confrontation escalated when Mane reacted to the protesters’ chants and, according to accounts from the scene, struck several people in the crowd.
Several other protesters then intervened and moved Mane away from the area, while participants questioned him about the confrontation and his reaction.
Mane is a well-known figure in Albania’s television and media scene and has appeared regularly on several major television programs. He has been featured on Top Channel, including the Sunday program E Diell, where he has participated as a panelist and commentator.
More recently, Mane has also been involved in television and media formats on CNA TV, where he co-moderates the weekly podcast Allishverishi. The program is broadcast on CNA TV and distributed through several television platforms in Albania.
His presence at the protest and the confrontation with demonstrators added another tense episode to the ongoing demonstrations in Tirana, where protesters continue to voice opposition to the government led by Edi Rama.
