During the match, a group of fans unfurled a giant banner in the stands reading “Rama in Prison, Berisha in Prison!”. At the same time, chants of “Rama, resign!” echoed through the stadium as supporters joined in unison.
The banner immediately drew the attention of security forces. As seen in footage from the stadium, police officers intervened in the stands and removed the banner.
The incident comes as anti-government protests and criticism of the government continue to appear in public spaces beyond organized demonstrations.
