Izet Shulku climbed to the highest point of the mountain and placed Albanian flags there.
The act took place at one of the most symbolic locations in the Albanian-speaking region, drawing attention after images from the summit showed the red-and-black flags flying among the mountains.
At the summit of Korab, the Albanian flags were placed to fly above the mountain landscape in a gesture that Shulku presented as a message in support of respect for national symbols.
Through the climb, Izet Shulku sought to restore the Albanian flag to the summit of Korab, turning the ascent into a symbolic act. Images from the peak show the red-and-black flags standing out against the surrounding mountain landscape.
