According to her account, the client had reached an agreement with the club’s management to spend approximately 30 minutes with her in a private room inside the venue. It was there, away from other customers and security personnel, that the alleged assault is said to have taken place.
“A client forced me to have sexual relations with him,” the 25-year-old woman reportedly told the Carabinieri.
The woman also raised concerns that a substance may have been added to her drink.
The alarm was reportedly raised at around 5:00 a.m. on Monday, after the man allegedly began causing problems with the club’s staff following the incident.
The first Carabinieri patrols arrived at the venue and collected the woman’s statement. She had managed to leave the private room and seek assistance.
Medical personnel later arrived at the club and took the woman to an anti-violence center, where she underwent medical examinations and received psychological support.
The results of the examinations could provide investigators with important evidence to help establish what happened inside the private room.
Milan Prosecutors Investigating
The investigation is being coordinated by the Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office.
Investigators are examining the 25-year-old woman’s account and collecting evidence that could clarify the circumstances surrounding the alleged assault.
The 25-year-old Albanian man is currently under investigation while remaining free, on suspicion of sexual violence. He has not been convicted, and the investigation remains at an early stage.
Authorities are expected to examine the medical findings, statements from club employees and other potential witnesses, as well as any additional evidence that could help reconstruct the events.
At this stage, the exact circumstances of what happened inside the private room have not been conclusively established.
The investigation will determine whether the allegations are supported by the evidence collected by prosecutors and law enforcement.
