| A massive wildfire lights up the night sky near Mount Krujë, Albania, following a fire started by a 73-year-old resident trying to burn grass, which prompted partial evacuations. |
Police said that strong winds caused the flames to quickly spread out of control, pushing the fire toward Mount Krujë and creating a serious threat to homes and surrounding areas.
As a precautionary measure, authorities carried out a partial evacuation of residents living close to the fire.
Fire Continues to Threaten Krujë
Despite the intervention of ground firefighting crews and aerial support, the situation reportedly remains critical, with flames continuing to spread.
