The citizen and activist-led protest in Albania's capital entered its 53rd consecutive day on Tuesday, as demonstrators once again gathered in central Tirana to voice their dissatisfaction with the country's political leadership.
The daily protest began at Skanderbeg Square, where participants assembled before marching toward the Prime Minister's Office. There, protesters continued delivering speeches criticizing the government's policies and calling for sweeping political reforms.
Throughout the demonstration, participants repeatedly chanted "Revolution", demanding significant changes to Albania's political system. Among their key demands are the resignation of the current political establishment and the repeal of Law 21/2024, which protesters argue should be annulled.
Organizers say the movement has now maintained an uninterrupted presence for 53 consecutive days, making it one of the longest-running civic protests in recent months. They insist the demonstrations will continue until their demands are addressed.
The protest remained peaceful as participants reiterated their commitment to maintaining daily gatherings outside government institutions.
As the movement enters its eighth week, attention remains focused on whether authorities will respond to the protesters' demands or whether the demonstrations will continue to grow in the coming days.
