Police Prevent Tragedy in Tirana: 82-Year-Old Rescued at Paskuqan Lake

 The incident, which has shaken the local community in the capital, involved a citizen identified by the initials A.A. According to official statements from the State Police, the elderly man had attempted to jump into the waters of the lake located on the outskirts of Tirana.

"The citizen A.A., aged 82, attempted to throw himself into Paskuqan Lake, an action which was prevented by Police officers who arrived at the scene immediately after the notification," a police spokesperson confirmed.

While the immediate danger has passed, investigators are currently working to clarify the specific circumstances and motives behind the event. The elderly man is reportedly receiving medical and psychological support following the traumatic ordeal.
