A tragic car accident claimed the life of Kevin Anghele, a 23-year-old man of Albanian origin, in Treviso, Italy, just a day ago. According to Italian media sources, the young man died instantly after his Alfa Romeo Brera went off the road and crashed into a tree during a high-speed police chase.
Authorities report that Kevin had attempted to flee a routine police check. In the midst of the pursuit, he lost control of the vehicle, resulting in a violent collision with a tree. The impact was fatal, and emergency services confirmed that Anghele died at the scene.
During the investigation at the crash site, Italian police discovered several doses of cannabis near the vehicle, leading to suspicions that Kevin was carrying the drugs with him at the time of the incident.
Kevin Anghele had been living with his family in Motta di Livenza until recently, before relocating to Friuli Venezia Giulia, specifically in the Pordenone area, according to Corriere della Sera.
The incident has shocked the local community, and investigators continue to work to determine the full circumstances that led to the fatal accident.
This tragedy adds to growing concerns about youth involvement in risky behavior, as well as the dangerous consequences of fleeing law enforcement.
