 The Albanian company "Timak" has proudly unveiled the prototype of the first armored military vehicle produced in Albania, named "Shota." This development represents a significant milestone for the country's military industry, marking a major step towards innovation and strengthening domestic production capabilities.

This much-anticipated news was first announced three weeks ago by Albania's Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi. In his statement, Peleshi highlighted that the team behind this successful project consists of 75 percent young women, emphasizing the important contribution of young women in the field of military technology and engineering. This fact underscores a significant shift towards gender equality and the empowerment of women in traditionally male-dominated sectors.

According to the minister's announcement, "Timak" already has a strong international presence, exporting vehicles to 20 different countries worldwide. This extraordinary success in exporting is a testament to the quality and reliability of their products.


In the prototype's presentation, which was made public through a video shared on social media, the name of the vehicle "Shota" was proudly revealed. The video's description highlights the significant role of women in creating this unique vehicle and the strength that "Shota" represents.
