 Although water sports are not very common in Albania, some people find them to be their greatest passion. In Shengjin, we are in the location known as "Rana e Hedhun," where a group of young people have chosen this sunny day to practice these sports.

In addition, water sports are expanding rapidly in Albania. Nearly every weekend, Albanian Water Sports organizes activities for young people who are interested in water sports. It goes without saying that such a trip is difficult and necessitates good physical preparation on the part of everyone involved.


Everything began on Shengjin's coast, where the team began their adventure. circling the island of Franz Joseph in Velipoja from corner to corner. The distance that was described was approximately 22.2 kilometers, and there was a brief stop at Rana e Hedhun along the way. Lisi, Deni, Arbi, and Erblini are four friends who paddle Stand Up Paddle at least once a week and have made this sport their hobby.

Everyone can choose their favorite from Stand-Up Paddling, Windsurfing, or Canoeing, though the level of difficulty varies by sport.

They invite all young people to join them for an unforgettable experience because they view water sports as a time of relaxation.

Even Ilir Ciko, chairman of the Albanian Water Sports Association, acknowledges that participating in water sports is a challenge in and of itself, despite the numerous benefits they provide.

Ciko demonstrates, among other things, that this sport has no boundaries and can be played by anyone.

This is only the beginning of a long journey, not the last water sports activity. Only arm strength is used for all movement. No motors, no diesel, simply the strength of their arms, they arrive at the end goal. a feeling that can't be put into words but should happen to everyone at some point in their lives!
