In 'Vanity Fair Italy', in the special column of letters and deliveries of human stories, one of them has made a big impression.

It is about the story of Albana and Giuseppe. Albana was an Albanian immigrant girl who, like everyone else, headed to the neighboring country for a better life in 1999, and that's how she met Giuseppe, then a priest.

He accommodated the mother and the young woman by helping and employing them as his assistant in daily chores.

Over time, the connection with Albana only got stronger and after a year of stay in Italy, she received the notification about the start of the documentation procedures.

Giuseppe decided to help her and neglected his duties, in the meantime he was not replaced in the church, so when the Sunday mass was not held because the priest was not present, the local newspapers started to write calling him 'the priest on the run'. What happened next?

From the companionship they had felt for each other, something changed. Albana asked them to build their life together and he gave up his job as a priest for her.

This decision was so heavy and inconceivable for the people living in the town that they started throwing stones at Albana's house.

She experienced this situation badly and was admitted to a psychiatric hospital for a few weeks. The lovers got married anyway, but left the city and started a new life with each other.

"Now after 20 years of marriage, we are happier than ever", Albana wrote at the end of the letter.
